Dancing through Surrey – Newark Priory Ripley

Earlier in the year I was invited to BBC Surrey Radio to talk about my Dancing through Surrey project. Once the broadcast of their breakfast show was finished, I had a lovely chat with James and Lesley. They gave me new inspiration and some great ideas for the shots. Amongst other locations, James mentioned Newark Priory. I was quite surprised I had never heard of it before, as it is almost at my doorstep! After I researched the location, I planned to shoot there in May. I thought that golden hour would give me a perfect light to compliment the ruins. An aspiring dancer, Ella, was keen to take a part in my photo shoot and did a fantastic job on the day. I really love what we were able to create! Hope you enjoy viewing the gallery.
