From marriage to parenthood: precious photographs of Kayleigh and Chris

I feel really blessed with my job. I meet so many amazing people and I am privileged to witness key moments in their lives. Such moments stay even deeper in our memories if we can relive them again, e.g. through the captured photography. I met Kayleigh and Chris in 2011 when they enquired about wedding photography. They both felt a bit shy about the idea of being photographed for the whole day. I totally understood that, because it doesn’t happen very often that you are in the spotlight all they long. I suggested an extra meeting at their beautiful wedding venue, the Great Fosters Hotel in Egham as I wanted to show them that being photographed is less scary than they thought. We ended up taking a few engagement photos and discussed the plan for their big day. The wedding itself was very beautiful and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Kayleigh and Chris being so happy and celebrating their marriage.

4 years later we met again! I received an email from Kayleigh asking me if I could capture their journey into parenthood. I felt very honored. I suggested a pregnancy photo shoot at their wedding venue. The weather was beautiful. Our meeting and the photo shoot brought back the memories of their wedding day. We even tried to capture some photos in the same set-up as on 4 years earlier. All in all: a great day of photography!

Three months after our pregnancy shoot I had a pleasure to meet Kayleigh and Chris again. This time accompanied by their gorgeous son Joshua! We decided to have the photo shoot at home. Little Joshua was very happy being in his environment, which allowed me to take some beautiful family photos.

Kayleigh and Chris, thank you so much for choosing me to capture the most beautiful moments in your life. Hope you will treasure the photos forever.

Thank you so much for your kind words:

“Incredibly talented lady! We first met Magda back in 2011 and asked that she capture our wedding day, both my husband and myself feel very uncomfortable in front of the camera but Magda made us feel at ease and we got some beautiful photos. We recently had our first baby and I was keen to get some photos of my bump and then when my son arrived, I contacted Magda who was more than happy to help. Magda met us on site at our wedding location for our bump photos and took some amazing photos but I think her true talent shone through when she came to our home to capture some images of my son; with no props and no effort Magda has captured some truly beautiful photos, I love all of them! Thank You Magda!”
