Ballet photoshoot with William Davolls

Ballet photoshoot

I photographed William Davolls a number of times over the last few year. Every shoot with this young dancer is a pleasure and we both know that it will end with some amazing results. William trains at Elmhurst Ballet School and is one the hardest working young individual I have ever met. He is a perfectionist in what he does. He always strives to deliver the best jump, the best pose, the best movement. We both consult every single image to make sure he is happy with his pose, and I am happy with the composition, light, lines, colour, space.

These images were created in the Oh Creative Space in London. Before we entered the studio, I spotted this space in the corridor and instantly had the vision in my head to create a movie styled images using my favourite blue hues. I used my PixaPro CITI600Pro Flash to create this atmosphere. After a few frames we moved on to the studio shots.

Hope you like the images. I would love to see your comments below. Love. Magda
