Brooklands Hotel wedding: Chris and Tash

Glamorous F1 style wedding at Brooklands Hotel.

Perfect choice of venue

Few weeks ago, I had a pleasure to photograph another Brooklands Hotel wedding. Chris & Tash, who are both huge Formula 1 fans, got married in October 2017. A perfect choice of venue, as Brooklands Hotel is located at the historic Brooklands motor racing circuit. The wedding followed Formula 1 theme to every detail, even the tables were named after the famous drivers. The top table was Lewis Hamilton, of course!

Preparations

Here is where I start. It is so convenient when bride and groom get ready at the same place. I was able to take the shots of all these beautiful wedding details during their preparations. I am always curious what my couple is going to wear. Capturing the details is very important as it adds to the story when it comes to creating the wedding album. Tash had a great idea to put a note “Once upon a time” on the soles of her shoes. I know that she is a huge Disney fan, so having it written like this, made it look very special. When I saw Tash’s choice for her wedding gown, I thought wow, what a modern and chick look to go for! This stunning Tulle skirt looked so fresh and unique! Chris opted for a James Bond look and looked very smart in his suit, indeed.

Ceremony

Everybody felt very emotional during the ceremony. Seeing all the love sparkles being exchanged during the wedding vows made me feel very happy. I kept capturing all those special moment as the ceremony went on because I know it would bring all the memories of this day to the couple when they see their photos.

We were blessed with a wonderful weather and light on the day. I decided to take the guests outside for the confetti shots and the individual family photos. It is amazing how surprisingly good the weather can be in October! I fell in love with the Aston DB5 arranged for the day. It was of course Chris’s idea to support his James Bond image and I made sure it was captured in the photos.
