Dancing through Surrey – Natasha Wilde – Leith Hill Tower

My next stop for Dancing through Surrey project was the magical Leith Hill Tower. This Surrey landmark is located near Dorking and offers some spectacular views. Leith Hill Tower is also the highest point in South East England. The tower was built in 1765 as “a place for people to enjoy the glory of the English countryside”.

I could not wish for a better light when I met with Natasha in a warm July evening. As we arrived at the car park, we were welcomed by an unexpected shower. Having waited for 45 minutes, we decided to give it a go anyway. After we climbed the hill, the rain stopped and the sun was trying to make an appearance through the clouds. The weather made the summer colours stand out even more. All of it perfectly diffused light.  The shoot had to start with some firebird leaps which complimented the views beautifully. Natasha’s favourite style of dance is jazz and contemporary and she trains with Vanessa Golborn School of Dance.

Thank you Natasha for being a wonderful model.

Hope you enjoy viewing the photos. Magda x
